About the job
Build and own production software services for data center facility controls, including telemetry pipelines, equipment models, control APIs, and test orchestration.
What you'll do
- Build services and data contracts for device integrations, telemetry, equipment models, and APIs across sites.
- Design messaging and state handling, and create safe, observable control workflows with authorization, deadlines, and equipment constraints.
- Test system behavior using unit and integration tests and simulated devices, including failure and recovery scenarios.
What they ask for
- Production code experience in Go, Python, or TypeScript.
- Experience with high-throughput messaging systems and understanding of ordering, delivery guarantees, and backpressure.
- Experience designing data models for large volumes of timestamped data and reasoning about query and storage tradeoffs.
- Experience instrumenting production services and designing interfaces, failure boundaries, and recovery tests.
Nice to have
- Prior datacenter or controls experience.
