Staff AI Platform Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop platform services for AI applications, governed data access, knowledge retrieval, MCP infrastructure, and agent orchestration.
• Evaluate models and improve retrieval, evaluation, security, observability, and cost management; deploy the platform on AWS using infrastructure-as-code.
• Partner with business and technical teams to automate repeatable work and guide platform standards through design documents, code review, and mentorship.

What they ask for

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of software or data engineering experience, including building and operating production platforms or services used by other engineers.
• Production programming experience in Python and Go, plus hands-on experience building production LLM systems and agent workflows.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, a cloud data warehouse, AWS, containers, CI/CD, and Pulumi and/or Terraform.

Nice to have

• React and design-system experience; Snowflake or Databricks; serving open-weight models; API or AI gateway experience; AI governance or compliance frameworks; physical-systems data background.

Pay

$128,660 – $184,966 (base salary)
