About the job
Develops and manages cost estimates and cost-reduction processes for electromechanical products throughout their lifecycle.
What you'll do
- Estimate costs for electromechanical designs, components, and assembly; analyze specifications, bills of materials, and manufacturing processes to identify cost drivers.
- Develop standardized cost engineering processes and partner with Finance on estimation templates, tools, and databases.
- Support data-driven make-versus-buy decisions and establish practices for cost data collection, analysis, and reporting.
