About the job
Develop embedded software across Formlabs printer hardware, from drivers and control systems to touch interfaces and cloud connectivity.
What you'll do
- Extend a printer abstraction layer so one codebase supports multiple printer families, including writing hardware abstraction layers for new machines.
- Build and maintain kernel modules, sensor and consumable drivers, the Qt 6 / QML interface, camera streaming, and cloud and mobile-app connectivity.
- Bring up prototype printers, deliver features to deployed printers, and improve simulation, automation, and testing tools.
