About the job
Supports incoming quality control for Fortinet network security products through testing, troubleshooting, rework, and coordination with engineering teams.
What you'll do
- Develop test scripts and conduct incoming quality control tests; support and guide QC technicians.
- Troubleshoot failures, apply component rework or upgrades, and prepare approved units for shipment.
- Report findings and recurring issues, and communicate feedback to engineering and quality teams.
What they ask for
- Familiarity with scripting languages; Python, Perl, Shell, or SecureCRT experience is a plus.
- Comfort working in Windows and Linux environments.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, basic network security, computer architecture, and network equipment.
- Diploma or degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field; ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
