Own and scale Forus’s compute, data, and cloud infrastructure, building reliable, cost-effective platform foundations and self-service tools for product teams.
What you'll do
- Own the compute platform and define reliable, simple architecture and service patterns as the company scales.
- Improve the performance, scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of databases and cloud infrastructure.
- Set platform reliability practices and build infrastructure-as-code and self-service tools for product teams.
What they ask for
- Experience operating production Kubernetes at meaningful scale, including networking, autoscaling, and cluster reliability.
- Deep AWS expertise, including EKS, VPC, and IAM boundaries, and strong Terraform infrastructure-as-code skills.
- Experience running a low-downtime database migration and operating a relational store such as Postgres under production load.
- Ability to reduce system complexity and build reusable platform primitives.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with PHI, HIPAA, and/or SOC 2.
- Experience mastering a new domain quickly.
