About the job
Build and lead Freeform’s turbomachinery engineering division, developing and testing compressors, turbines, and pumps designed for metal 3D printing.
What you'll do
- Set division strategy, roadmap, team structure, and hiring; own program schedules, budgets, and technical risks.
- Lead design and analysis of additive-manufactured rotating machinery, including aerodynamic, thermo-mechanical, rotordynamics, structural, and life analysis.
- Plan component and rig testing, correlate test results with models, and collaborate across engineering teams to inform printing technology.
Nice to have
- Proficiency with CFD and FEA tools and experience correlating models to test data.
- Experience leading engineers or technical programs; relevant graduate degree and/or experience with specialized machinery, test rigs, materials, or team-building are also listed as nice-to-haves.
Pay
$200,000 - $300,000 USD base salary
