Experience
1–4 years of engineering experience; the posting emphasizes what candidates have built over the number of years.

About the job

Build and operate internal data and ML platforms that let engineers and subject-matter experts safely manage pipelines, schemas, models, and deployments.

What you'll do

  • Develop tracking, data-processing, and ML infrastructure with automated contracts, testing, validation, monitoring, and rollback.
  • Build self-service tools, development environments, PHI policies, alert routing, and progressive release gates.
  • Operate production data or ML systems and improve their reliability, lineage, and observability.

What they ask for

  • Experience building internal platforms or infrastructure adopted by other engineers.
  • Experience operating production data or ML systems, including on-call support.
  • Strong Python and SQL; comfort with a lakehouse such as Databricks, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
  • Experience designing and evolving interfaces and schemas, and testing or CI for data or ML systems.

Nice to have

  • Declarative pipeline frameworks such as dbt, DLT, Dagster, or Airflow; streaming technologies such as Kafka or Spark Structured Streaming.
  • Data contracts, data diffing or lineage tooling, Terraform, feature stores, MLOps or evaluation tooling, agentic coding workflows, or healthcare/PHI/HIPAA experience.

Tools

Python, SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, dbt, DLT, Dagster

AI focus

Build ML infrastructure for feature computation and serving, training and evaluation pipelines, and product integration of model outputs; enable agents to make guarded data changes.
