Own vehicle harness power and signal distribution from concept through production, including engineering specifications, mechanical integration, prototyping, and supplier collaboration.
What you'll do
- Create harness requirements, schematics, CAD models, and drawings, and own the Device transmittal process.
- Provide technical expertise on power, signal, data bus, and ground distribution; collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers on prototypes and production vehicles.
- Refine team tools and methods and mentor junior engineers.
What they ask for
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with vehicle harnesses.
- Experience in the Automotive, Truck/Transportation and AV industry.
- Experience with Zuken.E3.
- Ability to select cables, connectors, and fuses and design supporting mechanical components.
Nice to have
- MS preferred; delivered a system to production preferred.
- NX preferred; programming and scripting experience preferred.
