Sets up and operates manufacturing machines to process castings and forgings while following lean manufacturing and workplace safety standards.
What you'll do
- Set up and operate mills, lathes, punch presses, spot-weld, bench, and EDM machines; change tooling and fixtures as needed.
- Work with castings and forgings and follow lean manufacturing practices, including one-piece flow, standard work, 6S, and setup reduction.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area, including managing chips and machine fluids.
