Leads Gemini’s Platform Security team, setting strategy and building cloud security solutions hands-on with engineers.
What you'll do
- Architect and implement security solutions, including writing and reviewing Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and security tooling code.
- Set the team roadmap, develop hiring plans, mentor engineers, and serve as a technical escalation point.
- Develop security policies and program KPIs, partner across the business, and manage third-party vendor relationships.

- 5+ years of leadership experience for cloud-native engineering and/or security teams.
- 10+ years of direct technical experience in relevant roles, with hands-on coding/IaC work within the last 2–3 years.
- Strong experience in AWS, EKS (Kubernetes), IAM, Terraform, and GitHub Enterprise Cloud.
- Experience with security frameworks and standards; success leading organizational change; strong communication skills.
Nice to have
