About the job
Design, deploy, automate, and operate the data center network connecting General Compute’s GPU and ASIC inference systems across new sites.
What you'll do
- Own the leaf-spine architecture, accelerator connectivity, external connections, tenant isolation, and network security.
- Lead network deployment at each site, from hardware and cabling plans through bring-up and acceptance testing.
- Automate network provisioning and validation, build monitoring and telemetry, respond to incidents, and coordinate network vendors and providers.
What they ask for
- Hands-on experience designing and deploying data center networks.
- Deep routing and switching knowledge, including BGP, EVPN-VXLAN or equivalent, ECMP, and leaf-spine design.
- Experience building high-performance networks for AI/HPC clusters or other latency-critical environments.
- Network automation skills with Python, Ansible, or similar; comfort with network configuration as code and data center hardware work.
Nice to have
- Networking experience with non-NVIDIA accelerators, multi-tenant cloud networking, or transit and peering.
- Experience with NetBox, Nautobot, or gNMI.
Tools
BGP, EVPN-VXLAN, ECMP, RDMA/RoCE, InfiniBand, Python, Ansible, NetBox
AI focus
Build the network for an AI inference fleet, connecting GPU prefill systems with ASIC decode accelerators.
