- Experience
- 5+ years.
About the job
Deploys and adapts AI models for real-world robotics hardware, integrating with partner systems, evaluating performance, and diagnosing failures to inform research.
What you'll do
- Post-train, evaluate, integrate, and deploy models on physical hardware under real-world compute, power, sensor, and latency constraints.
- Work with partners to integrate models with existing control systems, sensor pipelines, and edge hardware.
- Diagnose hardware deployment failures and feed findings back to research.
What they ask for
- 5+ years deploying AI or robotics systems from prototype to production across simulation, model development, and real-world deployment.
- Experience taking a model from a training checkpoint to real hardware and owning it end to end.
- Strong Python and PyTorch, with C++ skills when performance requires it; inference optimization on constrained hardware.
- Experience across the hardware-software boundary, including sensors, robotics middleware, edge compute, real-time constraints, and unreliable networks.
Nice to have
- Depth in at least one area—policy learning and control, world models and simulation, or perception and inverse dynamics—and interest in the others.
