Designs, develops, validates, and releases mechatronics hardware and related requirements for vehicle systems, coordinating integration across GM teams and suppliers.
What you'll do
- Oversee design and validation of mechatronics hardware, calibrations, and application software; generate technical solutions and resolve component- and vehicle-level issues.
- Coordinate product development and vehicle integration, including supplier and cross-functional work, timing plans, and sourcing activities.
- Develop and maintain component specifications, interface documents, DFMEA updates, and engineering release documentation.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Engineering
- Experience developing Component Statement of Requirements (SOR) and Component Technical Specification (CTS); automotive PPAP, DRE Essentials, DFMEA, or safety-critical systems experience
