What you'll do

  • Use virtual analysis and simulation tools to assess weldability, access, sealing, part handling, and BIW manufacturability; identify risks and publish issue reports.
  • Analyze manufacturing facility compatibility, robot reach, station constraints, sequencing, and interbuildability at design checkpoints.
  • Communicate findings and recommend design improvements while coordinating cross-functional feedback and meeting program milestones.

What they ask for

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
  • Experience with Siemens Teamcenter, TcVIS, NX, and/or Tecnomatix Process Simulate/Designer.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, including evaluating manufacturability in digital environments.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, deliver accurate analysis to program timing, and communicate and collaborate across teams.

Nice to have

  • Body shop launch experience or exposure to BIW manufacturing processes; experience with BIW tooling, joining processes, or manufacturing requirement development.
