About the job

Own the data partnership engine for embodied foundation models, sourcing and scaling partners that collect robotics data to research specifications and quality standards.

What you'll do

  • Source, evaluate, pilot, contract with, and scale data collection partners across geographies and data types.
  • Translate ML and engineering needs into partner-facing specifications, acceptance criteria, commercial terms, and operating processes.
  • Monitor cost, volume, and quality; report data outcomes to research and use them to improve future collection cycles.

What they ask for

  • 6+ years owning external partners or vendors with delivery obligations.
  • Demonstrated experience standing up a new vendor, from selection and diligence through contracting, ramp, and ongoing management.
  • Track record translating technical or specialist requirements into clear instructions for non-technical execution partners.
  • Fluency with pricing structures, SOWs, acceptance criteria, and unit economics.

Nice to have

  • Experience buying or managing data collection, annotation, or labeling at scale.
  • Experience close to an ML or research organization, or in autonomous vehicles, robotics, hardware, or another physical-world data acquisition domain.

AI focus

Supports embodied foundation model development by procuring and managing robotics data collection, translating model requirements into data specifications, and feeding data outcomes back to research.
