Leads portfolio financing for Generate Capital’s distributed-generation projects, overseeing debt and tax equity execution, portfolio models and forecasts, cross-functional processes, and team development.
What you'll do
- Lead construction and permanent debt financing, lender relationships, facility sizing, and administration; oversee tax equity execution with the team.
- Own portfolio financial models, forecasts, KPIs, and reporting, and direct financing diligence and closing workstreams.
- Build scalable processes and handoffs, coordinate across company functions, resolve escalated issues, and lead and develop the team.
What they ask for
- 7+ years of relevant experience across structured finance, project finance, portfolio finance, financial asset management, or adjacent disciplines.
- Advanced hands-on financial modeling across infrastructure assets, tax equity, and debt instruments, with understanding of cash and GAAP outcomes.
- Direct experience with construction-to-permanent bank debt, including sizing, draw administration, exposure management, and closing mechanics.
- Demonstrated transaction leadership and experience establishing governance, controls, and KPI definitions across a complex portfolio.
Nice to have
- Renewable energy or sustainable infrastructure experience; knowledge of community solar programs and requirements is a major plus.
- Existing knowledge and daily use of AI tools.
Pay
$190,000 - $220,000 USD base salary
