Leads corporate legal matters for Generate Capital, advising business leaders and managing governance, strategic transactions, and corporate financing from planning through execution.
What you'll do
- Advise on corporate governance, board and stockholder matters, capitalization, and corporate records.
- Lead or support M&A, investments, joint ventures, restructurings, asset sales, and equity and debt financings.
- Improve corporate policies and legal processes, and manage outside counsel and other legal service providers.
What they ask for
- JD from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
- 6+ years of relevant legal experience.
- Strong corporate transactional experience developed through a leading law firm and/or an in-house legal team.
- Experience leading or supporting M&A, strategic investments, joint ventures, and corporate financing transactions.

- Prior in-house experience is preferred but not required.
