About the job
Build and lead Generate Capital’s equipment sourcing and procurement function, securing new and used power-generation equipment for projects and customers.
What you'll do
- Develop procurement strategy, standing equipment options, supplier relationships, and an approved vendor list.
- Evaluate equipment and suppliers, negotiate commercial terms, and support delivery, warranties, and supplier performance.
- Establish procurement processes, policies, controls, and rapid diligence resources.
What they ask for
- 10–12 years of experience in power generation, storage, or infrastructure engineering, procurement, or sourcing.
- Direct experience sourcing or procuring capital equipment and working with OEMs, packagers, and financial intermediaries in new and secondary/used markets.
- Direct experience in rotating-equipment markets, including reciprocating engines, gas turbines, and fuel cells.
- Technical grounding to assess equipment application and acceptability, plus familiarity with EPC delivery models and owner-furnished equipment arrangements.
Nice to have
- Power-generation equipment procurement experience is strongly preferred.
Pay
$250,000 - $275,000 USD base salary
