Machine Learning Staff Software Engineer, Search Personalization

What you'll do

• Design and implement personalized user models, including retrieval, ranking, clustering, and LLM-based retrieval-augmented generation models.
• Improve model performance and personalization through advanced modeling, feature engineering, and label-quality work.
• Scale real-time model training and serving across modalities and use cases for billions of users.

What they ask for

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 5 years of experience building and deploying production recommendation-system models and building architecture in different modeling domains.
• 5 years of experience with ML design and infrastructure; 5 years testing and launching software products; and 3 years with software design and architecture.

Nice to have

• 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms; 6 years of ML or Quality experience on recommendation systems.
• Experience with recommender systems, clustering algorithms, SQL, deep model, C++, Dremel/F1, TensorFlow, or research.
