Senior Engineering Manager, Grafana Frontend | USA | Remote

What you'll do

• Manage, coach, hire, and plan across two distributed engineering squads; set expectations and address performance gaps.
• Own discovery, roadmaps, delivery, and measurement, partnering with Product, Design, engineering leaders, customers, and community members.
• Set frontend and navigation engineering direction and standards; drive AI and automation adoption, productivity improvements, and on-call response improvements.

AI focus

Use AI in management to synthesize feedback and research, support roadmap and resourcing decisions, and streamline coordination. Lead adoption of AI and automation in engineering workflows; evaluate impact and validate AI-assisted work. The role also considers AI-assisted discovery in Grafana and uses Grafana AI capabilities for observability and incident investigation.
