About the job
Manages procurement for ViiV’s US business by partnering with stakeholders, executing sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, and delivering value while managing supplier and supply-chain risks.
What you'll do
- Execute sourcing strategies across commercial, corporate, and technology spend categories, aligned with global category teams and ViiV business needs.
- Partner with stakeholders and Finance to identify opportunities, negotiate supplier contracts, and manage delivery and budgeting of savings and other benefits.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance, sourcing projects, and supply-chain risks, including mitigation plans and procurement processes.

- 3+ years of procurement experience, including support for multiple spend categories, ideally in a commercial business environment.
- Experience managing suppliers, including performance management, and leading supplier tender/RFP processes.
- Track record in contract negotiations and delivering business-impacting cost savings.
- Business stakeholder management and influencing skills, commercial and financial acumen, and ability to articulate procurement’s value.
Nice to have
- Pharmaceutical industry experience, though candidates from other industries are considered.
- Commercial category experience; experience with Procure-to-Pay and Spend Analysis systems, or cross-functional sourcing projects.
