Build and own backend systems and APIs that move money and assets through Gusto Retirement, with a focus on reliable financial workflows and production operations.
What you'll do
- Design, build, ship, and support services and APIs for payments, settlements, reconciliation, and financial integrations.
- Build critical workflows including payroll integration, KYB/KYC, 401k loans, billing and invoicing, and IRA; debug production issues and improve reliability.
- Partner with product, compliance, operations, and engineering teams; mentor engineers and deliver well-tested production code.
