Owns casting engineering from design review through qualification and production handoff, defining requirements, build processes, and quality plans for large structural castings.
What you'll do
- Translate customer and product requirements into casting specifications, quality levels, and inspection plans; review designs for castability and drive design changes.
- Define and manage the end-to-end casting route, qualification builds, supplier foundry work, and first-article delivery.
- Maintain casting BOMs, work orders, instructions, and configuration control, and resolve new-casting non-conformances through root-cause and corrective action.
