About the job

Own and build Hadrian’s workforce and workload identity systems across corporate, cloud, and factory environments, securing access to export-controlled data while enabling engineers to work efficiently.

What you'll do

  • Design, implement, and operate identity-provider systems, including SSO, SCIM provisioning, and phishing-resistant MFA.
  • Build and operate identity and authorization systems using modern protocols and models, and manage cloud and workload identities.
  • Automate access lifecycle and reviews, and partner with security and compliance teams on identity telemetry and audit readiness.

What they ask for

  • Strong software engineering fundamentals and a track record of shipping identity systems at scale.
  • Command of OAuth 2.0 flows, OIDC, SAML, RBAC, and relationship-based access control (ReBAC).
  • Hands-on experience with one or more IdPs: Okta, Entra, Google Workspace, Auth0, or Zitadel.
  • Cloud identity depth with Azure service principals and AWS IAM, and understanding of how identities map to infrastructure.

Nice to have

  • Production experience with fine-grained authorization at scale, such as OpenFGA or Zanzibar-style systems, or identity engineering in regulated manufacturing/OT environments.
  • Experience with passkey/FIDO2 or PAM rollouts, HashiCorp Vault, detection engineering, or ITAR-aware access design.
