About the job

Designs and validates bare-metal and RTOS firmware for EV motor control systems, optimizing performance, safety, and hardware integration.

What you'll do

  • Develop deterministic firmware, configure BSPs, and write low-level hardware drivers.
  • Implement and optimize motor-control algorithms, including high-frequency FOC, and improve CPU, interrupt, and memory performance.
  • Test and debug firmware using simulation and HIL, integrating with hardware, application software, and power electronics teams.

What they ask for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
  • Strong C/C++ proficiency for resource-constrained embedded systems and hands-on experience with ARM Cortex-M or equivalent platforms.
  • Foundational knowledge of motor-control algorithms, DSP, control theory, and PID tuning.
  • Familiarity with CAN, SPI, I2C, and UART, and hands-on use of oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and debuggers.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering focused on control systems; EV powertrain or automotive motor-control firmware experience.
  • Sensorless-control techniques, eTPU or GTM peripherals, or experience maintaining and running HIL environments.
