Leads Harbor’s multi-country payroll operations and global payroll team while optimizing Workday and related systems, processes, controls, and vendor partnerships.
What you'll do
- Oversee accurate, compliant payroll delivery, review, approvals, issue resolution, reporting, and employee support across the U.S., UK, Canada, and other jurisdictions.
- Lead optimization of Workday Payroll, integrations, configurations, controls, automation, and vendor management; support growth and acquisition-related payroll integrations.
- Manage, coach, and develop a global payroll team, setting operating standards, procedures, and performance measures.
What they ask for
- At least seven years of progressive payroll experience, including ownership of complex, multi-country or multi-jurisdictional payroll operations.
- Advanced, hands-on Workday Payroll experience in Canada, U.S. and UK, including configuration, testing, integrations, reporting, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
- Strong knowledge of global and multi-jurisdictional employment, payroll, tax, and pay-practice requirements.
- Demonstrated experience managing, coaching, and developing a team of payroll professionals across countries or time zones.
