About the job
The Audience Editor leads audience growth for Chron by developing and executing social, search, newsletter and video strategies, managing two audience producers, and connecting editorial coverage with audience needs across Texas.
What you'll do
- Develop audience strategies and promotion plans, analyze performance, and recommend coverage opportunities based on audience data and trends.
- Manage Chron’s social platforms, create and publish social content, and advise newsroom colleagues on platform trends and optimization.
- Lead off-platform video strategy, shoot and edit vertical video, and collaborate across the newsroom on campaigns and special initiatives.
