About the job

Designs, integrates, and validates resilient positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) systems that help uncrewed aircraft navigate in GNSS-contested or denied environments.

What you'll do

  • Develop anti-jam and anti-spoof GNSS architectures, including CRPA integration and adaptive antenna processing.
  • Integrate GNSS with inertial and alternative navigation systems, and validate navigation performance during outages and under contested conditions.
  • Assess PNT performance and threats, integrate hardware and software into UAS, and coordinate with government agencies and external partners.

What they ask for

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Navigation, Geomatics, or a related field.
  • Several years designing, integrating, or deploying GNSS and inertial navigation systems for airborne platforms.
  • Hands-on CRPA and adaptive antenna processing experience for anti-jam applications; direct SAASM GPS and/or M-Code receiver integration experience, including key management, certification, and security processes.
  • Deep GNSS knowledge and experience with GNSS/INS sensor fusion, inertial sensors, and estimation techniques; able to obtain a US security clearance (Secret or above) and prior COMSEC handling experience.

Nice to have

  • Experience with named CRPA implementations, M-Code/MGUE, GNSS simulators, or RF record-and-playback systems.
  • Experience with alternative PNT, electronic warfare, NATO STANAG navigation standards, export controls, or long-range UAS programs.

Tools

GNSS, CRPAs, SAASM, M-Code, IMUs, GNSS/INS, Kalman filtering, Spirent
