What you'll do

  • Build and run test pipelines and Modeling and Simulation, Software-in-the-Loop, and Hardware-in-the-Loop evaluations; plan and execute flight-test campaigns.
  • Analyze flight logs, telemetry, and sensor data to diagnose failures and validate autonomous behavior and edge-AI performance.
  • Write test plans, safety cases, and qualification reports, and collaborate with engineering teams on verification and improvements.

What they ask for

  • BSc, MSc, or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
  • 7+ years testing, validating, and evaluating complex autonomous systems.
  • Proficiency in Python, C++, or MATLAB for data analysis and test automation.
  • Experience with mature aircraft or munition development programs, including operational testing.

Nice to have

  • Experience with UAV, robotics, or aerospace platforms for US military customers; familiarity with military testing standards.
  • Hands-on experience with PX4 or ArduPilot, QGroundControl, communication datalinks, and a Part 107 or other pilot license.

Tools
