About the job
Supports direct-materials procurement and supplier-process development to prepare Hermeus’s supply chain for repeatable vehicle builds and scaled production.
What you'll do
- Support purchasing and timely delivery of direct materials; help develop and maintain supplier lists and standard parts lists.
- Assist with supply-chain SOPs, supplier-audit templates, and quarterly business review frameworks.
- Work with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams on sourcing strategies and process improvements.
What they ask for
- Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field; GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Experience supporting direct materials procurement.
- Strong negotiation skills, especially regarding cost and payment terms.
- Familiarity with procurement/ERP systems.
Nice to have
- Experience at an aerospace or defense manufacturer.
- Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Department of Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS).
Pay
USD 25–33 per hour (base salary)
