Education
Pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

About the job

Build and operate automated test infrastructure to validate grid-tied power converters, from test-bench design and test execution through failure analysis and verification of fixes.

What you'll do

  • Design, build, and integrate electrical reliability test benches, instrumentation, and safety systems.
  • Develop hardware- and firmware-interacting test software and automated manufacturing test workflows, including AI agents for test execution.
  • Plan and run reliability campaigns, analyze failures, and verify corrective actions.

What they ask for

  • Pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience designing, building, or operating electrical test setups for complex hardware.
  • Comfort with bench power equipment and measurement methods, and ability to design safe test systems for high-power hardware.
  • Programming experience in Python, including instrument control or data automation.

Nice to have

  • Experience with accelerated or environmental stress testing, such as HALT/HASS, thermal/humidity cycling, or power cycling.
  • Familiarity with power-electronics failure mechanisms, structured root-cause/corrective-action loops, or repeatable test-cell design.

Tools

CAN, UART, Modbus, TCP/IP, Python, DAQ

AI focus

Build AI agents to manage test execution across facilities, monitor anomalies, implement test-script and firmware changes in response to failures, and route issues to humans.
