What you'll do
- Lead industrial design from product architecture and concept development through detailed design and production, collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Design physical interactions and contribute to digital UX, visual communications, and brand systems across Heron’s products and touchpoints.
- Prototype and communicate design concepts, establish consistent design principles, and advocate for users while balancing technical and business requirements.

- Significant professional experience designing and shipping physical products, with a portfolio showing exceptional industrial design craft and end-to-end execution.
- Strong industrial design fundamentals, including form development, product architecture, CMF, ergonomics, manufacturing processes, and detailing; strong 3D skills in CAD, rendering, and prototyping.
- Experience collaborating with engineering teams within technical, manufacturing, cost, and schedule constraints.
- Strong graphic and visual communication skills, ability to explain complex technical information through design, and ability to independently drive ambiguous work.
Nice to have
- Experience designing industrial equipment, energy products, robotics, vehicles, electronics, or other technically complex physical products.
- Experience with hardware UX, visual identity, product graphics, environmental graphics, or exhibition design.
Pay
USD 145,000 to USD 195,000 per year (base salary)
