Leads strategic sourcing and supplier management for PCB fabrication, PCBA manufacturing, and related electronics manufacturing services supporting Heron Power’s solid-state transformer platform.
What you'll do
- Define category strategies and negotiate supplier pricing, tooling/NRE, and contract terms while meeting cost targets.
- Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams on design for manufacturing, supplier readiness, and production requirements.
- Manage supplier risks and resolve performance, yield, and quality issues across prototype, pilot, and mass production.
What they ask for
- 8+ years of strategic sourcing or procurement experience supporting electronics manufacturing.
- Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- Deep category knowledge of PCB fabrication, PCBA manufacturing, and/or electronics manufacturing services; experience managing PCB/PCBA suppliers, costs, qualification, and production ramp.
- Strong negotiation, should-cost analysis, BOM costing, contract management, and cross-functional collaboration skills; willingness to travel domestically and internationally, often with short notice.
Nice to have
- Experience sourcing high-reliability PCBAs for power electronics, industrial controls, EVs, or energy storage systems.
- Knowledge of PCBA processes, EMS providers, PCB fabrication, component supply chains, IPC standards, or data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
Pay
USD $170,000 to $220,000 base salary
