About the job
Own and improve foundational infrastructure that supports Hex’s multi-tenant platform and single-tenant environments, including cloud systems, CI/CD, and observability.
What you'll do
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, stack lifecycle automation, Postgres performance and capacity, infrastructure cost visibility, or security posture.
- Build customer-facing infrastructure capabilities such as private connectivity and customer-defined networking.
- Own an infrastructure project from start to finish and document systems with design docs and runbooks.
What they ask for
- Strong Kubernetes operations knowledge, including scheduling, networking, and failure modes.
- Solid AWS fundamentals, including EKS, RDS, VPC networking, and IAM.
- Infrastructure-as-code experience; Terraform is preferred.
- Comfort writing and reading application code, and ability to independently turn an unclear problem into a shippable solution.
Nice to have
