Area Manager, Compounding Facilities(AZ1)

What you'll do

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair lab equipment and facility systems, and respond to breakdowns and emergencies.
• Calibrate and test equipment, maintain maintenance and compliance records, and track assets, parts, and work orders in CMMS.
• Coordinate repairs with production and quality teams, identify safety and efficiency improvements, and communicate risks to management.

What they ask for

• High school diploma or equivalent GED; at least 18 years of age.
• 3+ years of pharma industry experience in maintenance or engineering and 3+ years of formal leadership experience with direct reports.
• Knowledge and experience with PLC and CMMS systems; formal training or certification from an accredited institution in at least one listed trade area (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, air compression, PLC system, or HVAC).
• Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and operate advanced technical equipment; meet stated physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility or pharmacy with the lab equipment described; 5+ years of electrical knowledge and electronic principles.
• Advanced degree/training in a related field or advanced formal training in lean or six sigma; bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
