Receives, verifies, accessiones, sorts, and prepares biological specimens for laboratory testing while maintaining accurate records and safety compliance.
What you'll do
- Receive, log, verify, and accession specimens in the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
- Sort, prepare, and distribute specimens for testing, including aliquoting and centrifuging.
- Maintain specimen documentation, follow safety and HIPAA requirements, and support inventory, storage, and disposal.
