About the job
Oversees a designated cleanroom shift’s sterile compounding operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, safe preparation, quality, and staff supervision.
What you'll do
- Enforce aseptic technique and cleanroom standards; oversee workflow, equipment, environmental monitoring, and documentation.
- Train and supervise compounding staff and supervising pharmacists; coordinate personnel, quality, and compliance matters with the PIC.
- Review materials and quality checks, and collaborate with R&D on developing and scaling compounded sterile preparations.
What they ask for
- 3+ years of pharmacy experience including sterile compounding exposure.
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) and active Ohio license.
- CSPT® certification or willingness to complete it in the first year of employment.
- Deep working knowledge of USP 797 and 800; at least 1 year managing pharmacists, technicians, and pharmacy support personnel.
Nice to have
- Board Certification in Sterile Compounding or willingness to complete in the first year; Designated Person or Assigned Trainer experience.
- Experience with regulatory inspections or familiarity with electronic documentation and compounding workflow software.
