About the job
Set technical direction for Hims & Hers’ data platform architecture, standards, governance, and economics while remaining hands-on in production engineering.
What you'll do
- Define the multi-year platform architecture and make cross-team decisions about streaming, data contracts, reliability, costs, and self-service capabilities.
- Establish engineering standards, chair architecture reviews, document decisions, and coordinate data platform work with ML, Security, Legal, and DevOps.
- Write and review production code, support platform-level incidents, and mentor Staff and Senior engineers.
