Sr. Staff SDET, Customer Engineering

What you'll do

• Design quality architecture, shared automation frameworks, test infrastructure, and scalable engineering standards across teams.
• Lead AI-driven testing and evaluation, including agent workflows, guardrails, and release-confidence decisions.
• Improve operational quality practices, mentor senior engineers, and lead incident analysis and strategic quality initiatives.

What they ask for

• 10+ years of hands-on quality engineering or SDET experience, including architecting quality strategy and automation platforms across multiple teams.
• Experience scaling full-stack test automation across frontend web, mobile, and backend/API; deep proficiency in one or more programming languages.
• Hands-on experience applying AI to testing and defining quality architecture and standards across teams.
• Experience with CI/CD quality gates, mentoring senior engineers, post-incident analysis, and performance and load testing at scale.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with LLM observability and evaluation tooling, cloud-based testing platforms, or LLM/ML product evaluation infrastructure.
• Experience in e-commerce or healthcare, regulated environments, or internationalization and localization testing.

$180K – $225K (USD, base salary)

AI is central: the role applies LLMs and agents to test generation, test selection, failure triage, self-healing automation, and release decisions; it also evaluates AI-powered product features using eval suites, golden datasets, LLM-as-judge scoring, and methods for non-deterministic behavior.
