Lead Security Engineer

What you'll do

• Assess AWS security, IAM architecture, and AI-assisted development tools; establish governance and security frameworks.
• Build security monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and IAM controls, including safeguards for AI tools, agents, and MCP servers.
• Lead security strategy and compliance efforts, and mentor teams through security standards and technical proposals.

What they ask for

• 3+ years in cybersecurity, including 3+ years focused on security operations or IAM.
• 2+ years of AWS cloud security operations experience.
• 2+ years of coding experience (e.g., Python, Go, or TypeScript), including hands-on Terraform and infrastructure-as-code development.
• Hands-on experience securing AI/ML systems, including data pipelines, model deployments, and API integrations.

Nice to have

• AWS Solutions Architect or Security Specialty certification; AI/ML security certifications or familiarity with adversarial ML threats and mitigations.
• Experience integrating security controls into CI/CD or AI-assisted development workflows; Enterprise IdP experience, especially Okta, and OAuth 2.0 and SAML knowledge.

$191.2K – $286.8K (base salary)
