About the job
An entry-level apprentice learns field service for compressed-air equipment by assisting technicians with maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment startups, and customer support.
What you'll do
- Assist technicians and the Field Service Manager at field jobsites, including two-person jobs and basic troubleshooting or service of Sullair products.
- Learn preventive maintenance, basic troubleshooting, control adjustments, and equipment startups; clean equipment and help prepare service documentation and travel arrangements.
- Follow safety procedures and provide professional, customer-oriented service.
What they ask for
- Fluent English and a valid driver's license held for at least 12 months, with the stated restrictions on major or frequent traffic violations.
- Able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding work in industrial environments.
- Strong grasp of Microsoft office; ability to read and understand schematics.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to have
- Compressor preventative maintenance experience; experience with rotary screw Oil Free Compressors.
- Associate degree or Technical Trade School.
Pay
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour (base salary)
