Manages procurement for complex automation projects, sourcing and negotiating components and coordinating supplier deliveries to meet project schedules and customer requirements.
What you'll do
- Manage project procurement from kickoff through installation, including RFQs/RFPs, negotiations, supplier performance, and delivery risk.
- Interpret drawings, BOMs, and specifications to ensure accurate purchasing; coordinate with Engineering and Project Management on budgets and schedules.
- Support cost reduction, strategic sourcing, and inventory planning for automation components.

- Procurement or sourcing experience in manufacturing, automation, mechatronics, robotics, or engineered-to-order environments.
- Experience managing project-based purchasing from kickoff through installation or commissioning.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and ability to interpret mechanical and controls drawings, BOMs, and engineering specifications.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience conducting RFQs/RFPs; intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency.
