What you'll do
- Operate machines according to written or verbal instructions; assist with tool changes and simple parts or fixture changes.
- Inspect product dimensions and workmanship using gauges and visual checks; determine whether products meet requirements.
- Maintain production records where appropriate, keep the work area orderly, follow safety and quality procedures, and suggest improvements.
