Weld and assemble transformer components using the Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW) process, following prints and safety procedures.
What you'll do
- Assemble transformers and welded assemblies from prints; handle parts using cranes, hoists, or fork trucks.
- Set up welding equipment and perform FCAW, weld removal, grinding, and air tests as required.
- Complete transformer checklists and documents, attend required safety meetings, and follow safety protocols.
