About the job

Build end-to-end observability capabilities that help customers understand, monitor, and debug AI agents and their workloads in Honeycomb.

What you'll do

  • Deliver AI observability features from data ingestion through in-product visualizations, and contribute to their data model and infrastructure.
  • Build systems that surface AI-specific signals, including cost, token usage, errors, and anomalies.
  • Collaborate with product and design partners, iterating through customer feedback and experimentation.

What they ask for

  • Experience shipping customer-facing features at a SaaS company, beyond internal tooling.
  • Proficiency in backend development with Go and/or Python, and frontend development with TypeScript and React.
  • A track record of working with product managers and designers.
  • Regular hands-on use of AI tools in day-to-day engineering work; experience being on call; and ability to navigate ambiguity and shifting requirements.

Nice to have

  • Experience building LLM- or agent-powered features in production.
  • Hands-on experience with observability tooling, such as OpenTelemetry.
