Director of IT Engineering

What you'll do

• Set IT strategy and oversee Help Desk, IT Engineering, and business applications service delivery.
• Build and develop the IT organization, including managers, and establish operating processes and performance metrics.
• Partner with Security, Engineering, Compliance, People, and Finance on secure IT systems, employee technology workflows, budgets, vendors, and incident response.

What they ask for

• 10+ years of IT experience and 5+ years in people leadership, including managing managers and distributed or multi-site teams.
• Experience owning IT strategy and operations for a mid-sized or larger organization.
• Experience supporting remote-first or hybrid employees across time zones.
• Deep knowledge of core IT domains, including endpoint management, identity and access management, collaboration suites, ITSM, enterprise AI administration, and cloud infrastructure.

Nice to have

• Experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up.
• Cybersecurity or IT security background, or experience supporting federal, regulated, or public-sector customers.

Pay

$218,000 - $256,000 annually (base salary); eligible for an equity package in the form of stock options (amount not stated).
