What you'll do
- Design and maintain shared infrastructure and platform capabilities, including Infrastructure-as-Code, deployment workflows, and environment provisioning.
- Build automation and self-service tooling; improve monitoring, incident response, reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
- Help define platform architecture and engineering standards, partner with engineering teams on production readiness, and participate in an on-call rotation.
What they ask for
- Strong experience building and operating production systems across cloud, on-prem, or edge environments.
- Experience with containers, Kubernetes, networking, distributed systems, Infrastructure-as-Code, deployment automation, CI/CD, and modern observability practices.
- Strong software development and automation skills, preferably in Python or a similar language.
- Strong understanding of security, reliability, production operations, and troubleshooting complex systems across application, infrastructure, network, and hardware boundaries.
Nice to have
- Experience building internal developer platforms or self-service infrastructure.
- Experience with secrets management, identity, PKI, infrastructure security, highly available systems, distributed databases, or production data infrastructure.
Pay
$150,000 - $220,000 USD base salary
