Retail Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain AI agents and Android applications, integrating models, device capabilities, and enterprise systems.
• Translate customer and product requirements into technical designs, acceptance criteria, and production-ready features; troubleshoot integrations with customers and their IT teams.
• Establish engineering practices for AI-assisted development, testing, security, releases, and product support; mentor engineers and lead technical issue resolution.

What they ask for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including technical leadership and hands-on development of new products from concept through production.
• Demonstrated experience building AI applications using large language models, agent frameworks or harnesses, tool calling, retrieval, inference, and evaluation.
• Strong Android development and backend integration experience; practical use of AI-assisted development tools is required.

Nice to have

• Kotlin and Jetpack Compose skills.
• Retail technology experience.

Pay

$147,050 to $230,850 USD annually (base salary)
