Senior Principal Presales Systems Engineer, Cloud and AI Networking

What you'll do

• Translate customer business needs into scalable end-to-end networking architectures; coordinate solution design with specialists and product teams.
• Deliver demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, presentations, and RFP responses; influence technical strategy and support deal execution.
• Create architecture playbooks and enablement materials, engage customers and partners, and mentor sales engineering teams.

What they ask for

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of technical experience in network infrastructure architecture, design, and solutions consulting for large-scale AI and cloud data center hyperscale networking environments; 10+ years applying expertise with JunOS, EOS, IOS, and hyperscale network architecture frameworks.
• JNCIE or equivalent certification; deep hands-on expertise with hyperscale routing, MPLS traffic engineering, switching, SDN overlays, network fabrics, DCI, provisioning, automation, and monitoring.
• Successful complex presales experience; programming or scripting experience (Python, APIs, JSON); willingness to travel up to 50%, including internationally on short notice.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree.
• Familiarity with networking silicon, hardware platforms, and related software such as Juniper, Arista, Cisco, SONiC, and Cumulus.

Pay

USD 221,000 - 429,000 (combined base salary and target-level sales compensation) in Massachusetts; USD 221,000 - 456,500 (combined base salary and target-level sales compensation) in California; USD 194,500 - 456,500 (combined base salary and target-level sales compensation) in Texas
